Qianyi Qin – Soprano Singer
Former faculty member at Sichuan Conservatory of Music. Graduated as the top student from the Sichuan Conservatory of Music and later served as a faculty member there. Pursued postgraduate studies at Musashino Academia Musicae in Japan, specializing in opera, under the tutelage of Miwako Matsumoto.
Awards and Musical Activities
Recipient of the 10th “Great Wall Cup” International Music Competition Award and Silver Prize at the 21st “Asia International Cultural Festival.” Released the album
CHAI CHAI and the single Lady of
Xi’an through Toshiba EMI, both receiving nationwide acclaim in Japan.
While studying in Japan, she represented Musashino Academia Musicae at the Agency for Cultural Affairs’ International Festival. Collaborated with the University of Tokyo to plan and perform at the “China-Japan Friendship Exchange Event” and was featured in a special interview on NHK’s Good Morning, Japan.
She has performed numerous recitals across Tokyo and Japan, such as “Enchanting Soprano and Piano Duet,” “Melodies That Touched the Heart,” “Songs of Love,” and “Beyond Classical,” captivating audiences with her crystal-clear voice and exceptional vocal technique.
Recent Activities
In recent years, she has served as a judge for various music events, including The Voice of
China Japan division, “Cultural China – Water Cube Cup” Chinese Song Contest Japan division, “Asia International Choral Competition and Peace
& Friendship Arts Festival,” and “Karaoke Contest for Middle-aged and Seniors.”
She conceptualized and starred as the lead performer in the special program "Anti-COVID China-Japan Spring Festival Red and White Singing Competition" on Kobe TV. Additionally, she served as the music producer for the "50th Anniversary of China-Japan Diplomatic Relations Concert" organized by the All Japan Chinese Union. She also performed and was involved in the music planning for the "Red Light Up" event at Tokyo Tower. Representing the Japanese team, she performed at the "1st Global Chinese Popular Golden Melody Gala" at the Tsim Sha Tsui Cultural Centre Open-Air Plaza in Hong Kong, receiving widespread acclaim.
Her achievements have been featured in media such as the “Japan Classical Music Association,” Chinese News, Sankei Shimbun, Nikkei Shimbun, People’s Daily Overseas Edition, music magazine Chopin, and The Japan Times, and NHK in Japan, CCTV in China.Additionally, she is listed in the “Japan Talent Directory” and the “Japan Talent Database.”
